Blackstone says it has raised $8.7 billion for its fifth energy transition fund. BETP V reached its fundraising cap and exceeds its predecessor’s size by more than 50%. The group says the fund was substantially oversubscribed. This confirms institutional investor appetite for energy-related assets, but does not mean all capital will immediately be invested in renewable projects.
